I've done my own hair since middle school. In high school, teaching myself how to style wigs sparked my interest in cosmetology.
In the summer of 2024, I earned my Ohio Boutique License in shampooing and braiding, and that same summer, I began my journey as a loc stylist. Having my own set of locs taught me the value of intentional, consistent care, and I wanted others to feel confident knowing their locs are being cared for with that same level of intention.
When I started college, I continued taking loc clients while pursuing my degree. It didn't take long for me to realize that doing retwists wasn't just a way to earn extra income. It was something I genuinely loved.
Retwisting and styling locs calms me. It's my form of therapy. I enjoy the process, the attention to detail, and the opportunity to help someone feel refreshed and more confident when they leave my chair.
To me, intentional loc care means taking the time to understand your hair, paying attention to the little details, and creating an experience where you never feel rushed. Every client is different, and I believe your appointment should reflect that.
I'm committed to continuing my education, refining my craft, and making every client's experience even better than the last.
I'm forever thankful for the opportunity and privilege to help you nourish your crown!
